The musical adaptation of Pedro Almodóvar’s movie WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN is both touching and hilarious. In the Original West End production directed by Bartlett Sher, Willemijn characterised a divorce lawyer, Paulina, who is supposed to represent crazy Lucia but instead ends up falling in love with Ivan, Lucia’s ex-husband to be. Combine a divorce lawyer in love, an abandoned actress and a whimsical co-worker and you’ve got yourself a wacky comedy.
