Willemijn’s musical career began in 2000 in the Dutch production of ELISABETH as part of the ensemble. A few years later she starred in the lead role of Elisabeth in the Swiss open air production of the Thunerseespiele. ELISABETH tells the story of the Empress Elisabeth of Austria (known as “Sissi”) .Translated into seven languages and seen by over ten million spectators worldwide, ELISABETH is the most successful German-language musical of all time.
